The dazzled best man, 26, voiced the nation's thoughts as he led Kate's radiant chief bridesmaid back up the aisle after their siblings' vows, reports the Sun. Later the pair seemed to make a perfect couple themselves, as they stood side-by-side on the balcony of Buckingham Palace gazing down on the ecstatic crowds. It also got many tongues wagging with suggestions that the pair looked such a good match that they might be the next royal romance. Incidentally, Harry's on and off flame Chelsy Davy was also there. Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan jokingly took to Twitter to urge: "Make a move this afternoon, Harry." Survey conducted among Indians on a matrimonal website chose the British-born to be the ideal match for Prince William On the eve of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, leading matrimonial service conducted a poll amongst its members on which Indian celebrity would make a good pair with Prince William.  They were required to choose from three Indian Women – Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra & Sonakshi Sinha.  Out of the 8000 survey takers, 75.3% respondents believed that Katrina would be the best Indian celebrity match for Prince William, followed by Priyanka Chopra with 16.7% and Sonakshi Sinha with 8%.  As the world is following every step of the Royal Wedding on the Internet and social media, they posed the same question on social networking platforms asking followers their opinion on which Indian celebrity women would be make a good pair with Prince William.  Without any options to choose from, the results showed that the most preferred celebrity woman was Sushmita Sen.

If only on a billboard. She has good friend and production partner Kuunal Gumar to thank Passers-by at Juhu Beach have been seeing Ameesha Patel on a hoarding for weeks now. The actress is seen in a sequinned bodice with the billboard proclaiming 'Ameesha Patel sizzling in summer'. Though other signboards have been changing, the actress' hoarding has stayed put. B-Town buzz is that it has been put up by her 'good friend' Kuunal Gumar with whom she launched her production house over the weekend. Says a source, "When designer Komal Shahani wanted the actress to model for her summer collection, the actress readily agreed. When it was decided that she would grace a hoarding at Juhu beach, it was Kuunal who took on the onus of putting it up." Personal purpose Patel maintains, "The hoarding hasn't been put up by Kuunal. Designer Komal Shahani has, for her purpose." Kate Middleton is having a recurring nightmare - that she is nude in front of the marriage congregation, a media report said Wednesday. Kate's sister 27-year-old Pippa, who is to be the maid of honour Friday, is in fits of hysterics, The Sun reported. The 29-year-old has confessed to imagining herself in the buff as the world watches her tie the knot with Prince William. Kate had suffered a similar anxiety-related dream in 2006 when she was about to start a new job at a clothing chain. "Kate has the last-minute jitters and just wants the day to arrive. It's hardly surprising considering the stage she is going to be on - with the eyes of the world on her," a royal source was quoted as saying. "But her nerves have manifested in an interesting way. A recurring dream she hadn't had for years has raised its head again." In her nightmare, Kate finds herself nude in front of the congregation and then becomes suddenly aware she is stark naked. Kat enjoys sumptuous Easter dinner with Bosco-Ceasar  Choreographers Bosco and Ceasar had an unexpected late night visitor over for dinner on Easter Sunday: Katrina Kaif. Unexpected, because the actress recently took ill while shooting for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.  In the end, it appears she just had to sample the delicacies on offer. Her co-star Imran Khan was also at the dinner.  Says Bosco, "We had wound up choreographing a song that features Imran and Katrina. We invited everyone over for a homely Easter dinner at my home in Versova.  While Imran joined us, we weren't really expecting Katrina as she had been very unwell while shooting the song. It was a small get-together consisting of our close friends and families." On the plate The menu included mutton vindaloo, chicken curry, fish and prawn preparations, lamb chops, glazed ham, roasted lamb with phirni and ice-cream for dessert.  "As we settled down for dinner, there was a knock at the door. I opened the door and was shocked to see Katrina standing outside! It was a pleasant surprise.  She must have thought, 'let me give these Catholic boys a nice surprise'. She's mostly on a diet but loves gorging on home-cooked food once in a while."

Why would you pay Rs.100 just to watch sex: Ekta Kapoor

Bored of the idiot box, TV tzarina Ekta Kapoor is fearlessly entering the bedroom space with films like "Love Sex Aur Dhokha", "Ragini MMS" and "Dirty Picture". But she says titillating the audience is not her agenda as Indians don't have to go to movie theatres to watch sex.  "There is lovemaking, but there is no sex in our films, " a nonchalant Ekta told in an interview.  "I personally believe in our country, if you want to see sex, you can go online and download it for free. Why would somebody pay Rs.50 or Rs.100-Rs.200 for a movie ticket just to watch sex?"  Referring to her movies, she said: "There is no sex in these films. But in none of these films do we run away from sex. They have just been labelled titillating. When I made TV shows, people called them regressive. Clearly, everyone wants to generalise everything. In 2010, Ekta launched ALT Entertainment, a sister concern of her Balaji Telefilms Ltd, to cater to upwardly mobile young Indians with television and film content.  She released Dibaker Banerjee's bold and explicit project "Love Sex Aur Dhokha" under the banner, and realised there is a definite market for subjects and treatment that are closer to reality.  So now comes "Ragini MMS", about a couple who go for an adventurous weekend and get filmed by 24 cameras amid some paranormal activity, and "Dirty Picture", which traces the life of sex icon Silk Smitha.  "I choose a mid path. I can easily tell you that none of these films is high on sexuality. In fact a lot of our Hindi films where they show dupattas flying and deep cleavage, have a lot more sexuality. The difference is that they show it in a covert, more hidden way. But actually it is much more titillating, " said the daughter of Bollywood's Jumping Jack, the veteran star Jeetendra.  Caught in an unusually fun-loving mood at a hotel here, Ekta broke into guffaws the moment the stark contrast between her family-oriented dramas and the films was pointed out. She is after all known for soaps like "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki." "I am a living contradiction. I am chalk and cheese. Expect the unexpected from me! I can easily manage the two sides because I am a Gemini - a woman of all moods - I am Bohemian and conservative, " she said.  But 35-year-old Ekta, who kept fiddling with the many threads and bracelets worn on her left wrist for superstitious reasons, finally gave the reason behind the films.  "I was getting extremely tired with television. I love my television but I was getting bored doing the same thing over and over again. And I didn't want to go niche on television. Niche on TV is not allowed because audience for TV is so large. "I can't monitor and I can't give advice as to who should be watching what on TV. So I didn't want to get experimental. I would never show something on TV which I am not comfortable watching with my parents or grandparents.  "I could have never had any kind of creative freedom on TV; so then I did movies! Now, I am able to do all kinds of entertainment...and that, I feel, is the biggest blessing!" she added.  And not once to mince words, Ekta readily admits that "Ragini MMS" is definitely not the kind of movie she would watch with her parents. It is "strictly for youngsters!" she exclaimed.

Salman 'Ladies Only' Bash with Asin and Zarine

At the music release of Ready on Monday evening Zarine Khan clung to Salman's side with single-minded determination while the film's leading lady Asin maintained a discreet distance happy to let Ms Khan (who has only a guest appearance in the film) be the superstar's arm-candy for the evening.  Everyone knows Salman Khan was in his element at the music release of Ready on Monday evening at Film City. But the actual fun began after the music release when Salman decided to have an impromptu bash in his pad that has been put up for him at Film City for the shooting of his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's Bodyguard.  Asin and Zarine Khan immediately accompanied Salman to his very private den. But the interesting part of the spontaneous party was that Salman invited only the ladies at the venue.  The men were largely left out.  Says a source, "After the music release Salman suddenly announced it was party time at his Bodyguard pad which is inside the Film City premise.  Zarine Khan was by his side and Asin was a safe distance away. They both accompanied him to his pad for the party. Strangely all the female members of the Ready cast—and there are at least 15-18 prominent female characters in the film—were asked to join the party while their husbands and male companions got left behind.  Salman has formed a superb bonding with all the ladies in the cast. After a while Salman suddenly remembered the husbands and boyfriends waiting somewhere down below and asked the ladies to call them up. Even the Ready director Anees Bazmi just dropped in at the part for five minutes and left. The party continued till the wee hours of Tuesday morning. " When contacted to verify this amusing all-women invitees' list Asin laughed, "Well, it's true. Salman invited all the female actors from Ready. We all went up his very comfortable and large pad with a view.  It has a garden and it has a beautiful view outside. Salman makes a wonderful host. The ladies were all happy to be partying. Suddenly Salman remembered their husbands and invited them too.  It was great fun though I was the odd one out since I don't drink. After a while it gets boring for both me and the others guests to keep wondering why I am not drinking. " Asin is deeply impressed by Salman's bonding with the woman in the cast. "All the ladies who play his aunts and relatives just dote on him. He makes them all feel like part of his extended family. " In fact watching Salman create a family within the unit of Ready has made Asin feel homesick. She is going home.  Says Asin, "I am taking off for Kerala for a couple of weeks. At the moment I've no other Hindi film on hand. So I can afford the time off. " Asin has apparently been offered everything from Anurag Basu's Barfee to Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick. But after films with Aamir, Salman and Ajay Devgn she's at the moment looking at a film with a leading man of her own age group.  Apparently Asin has been offered Sajid Nadiadwala's 2 States with Shah Rukh Khan. Lindsay Lohan is set to have a tough time working with dead bodies at the L.A. County Department of Coroner's facility. The 'Mean Girls' actress, who has been sentenced for violation of her probation terms, will be picking up trash, emptying trash bins, mopping floors and cleaning windows and restrooms over there. "She'll be doing basic janitorial work," the People Magazine quoted Coroner Assistant Chief, Ed Winter as saying. "She won't be handling any dead bodies but she'll certainly see them," he added. Lohan, 24, has been ordered to do 120 hours of community service at the morgue and 360 hours of service at the Downtown Women's Center, a homeless shelter situated in L.A.'s Skid Row. However, this grueling punishment is in addition to a four-month jail term, which the actress faces. Lohan will have to enroll in the two community service programs within a week, with a year in hand to complete them.

Bollywood star Salman Khan has clarified that he is not playing a superhero in Kabir Khan's next.  "I am not doing any superhero film. I don't want to be bit by a spider and become Spiderman. I don't want to wear red underwear outside and become Superman. I just want to be Sal-man, " the 46-year-old wittily said.  The news that was doing the rounds was that Salman will be doing an espionage thriller on the lines of "X-Men" where he will play a spy who also has super abilities that are hidden from others. But the star has labelled this as false.

Chitrangda Singh attends action workshops in Hong Kong Chitrangda Singh, who plays a female baddie in the Krrish sequel has been asked to undergo physical training to prepare for her role. Together time She recently visited Hong Kong and China to attend action and fight classes with experts. It was co-star Hrithik Roshan who suggested that she train for the fight sequences in the film.  A source reveals, "It was a rigorous experience. She has never done an action film. Even though she's physically fit, hanging down from a harness and doing martial arts is new to her. Since her role is that of a mutant from outer space, her character will have a distinct edge. Taekwondo and kickboxing will be some of the fighting styles used." Ekta Kapoor gets candid on the controversy surrounding the promos of her horror movie Ragini MMS She is clearly the woman on top. And it shows. Vivacious, supremely confident, and ambitious (and newly introduced to the eat-every-two-hours diet that B-town seems to be following religiously) -- that's soap opera queen-turned-successful producer Ekta kapoor for you.  The Kapoor scion was in town to promote her upcoming flick Ragini MMS. And she claimed to be a "typical mass MiD DAY reader". "I read Hitlist regularly. I love MiD DAY, " she told us. We bring you excerpts of the interview: The Censor Board made you tone down the promos for Ragini MMS. In the movie, there is no vulgarity or no overt sexuality. The way we view it, you are not supposed to be comfortable with sexuality. That is the big problem. You have to make it in a way for people to be comfortable with and that is the problem. Once you go into the raw version, it becomes problematic. But these are real people. If you ask me, the big problem would be the conversation in the film. How people talk to each other. Even with shows like Roadies and Splitsvilla running on primetime television, your film promos are shocking people. Well, I am clearly shocked. We are projecting it as paranormal horror. And we are saying it very clearly in the promos. It is about a couple, who go out of Mumbai for a weekend. They book a bungalow because they clearly can't afford a hotel. Like typical youngsters do. The guy decides to bug the house. It is about what happens to the girl and what she experiences. You can relive their experience. As if you were part of the house and you feel the spirit. You get to see the film through various cameras. It's voyeuristic horror. It's about a couple who are really together. They are not going to talk like 'haan, tumne chhua'.  The guy is a bit of an MCP, constantly making sexual jokes. And the girl is like 'Don't be a psycho'. You have to actually feel the horror happening. It is not like Hindi movie horror. What are the similarities with Paranormal Activity. Are you trying to break new ground with Ragini MMS? A lot of people have been telling me, is it like Paranormal Activity. I'm like 'please'. It's the format. Like it's not Bisleri which is just a brand, the product is bottled water.  Paranormal Activity and Love Sex aur Dhoka are similar category because they are shot with one camera. They actually claimed it to be real footage. We are not doing that. We are actually telling a story with a format where we are saying the guy is bugging the place. Sonakshi on the hotseat!

For the Bhojpuri quiz show her father's hosting. Salman Khan and Amitabh Bahchan may follow suit  Sonakshi Sinha will appear on the Bhojpuri edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati, a show hosted by her father, Shatrughan Sinha.  The episode will be recorded in Kolkata early next month as soon as Sonakshi finds the time.  Says the proud father, "Yes. Sonakshi is going to be on the hot seat. Audiences will finally get to see us together on screen."  Intelligent girl Says Shotgun, "Sonakshi should not expect any easy questions just because she's my daughter. You'll be surprised to know she took the initiative of being on my show.  She asked me if she could participate. I happily agreed. She's an intelligent girl. I know she'll conduct herself well."  Sinha Sr admits he needs to work on his Bhojpuri. "That's strange because my mother spoke to us in the dialect. I'm brushing it up for KBC. It isn't difficult. Bhojpuri has direct links with Hindi. So mastering it is no problem."  Shatru's first guest is politician Yashwant Sinha. "Sonakshi will follow. While most people think that it is women who say "I love you" first in romantic relationships, a new research has found that men were more likely to utter those three magic words first. Also, men admit thinking about confessing love six weeks earlier than their female partners. Taking an "evolutionary-economics" perspective, the research concludes that gender differences in the timing and function of saying "I love you" are related to whether a couple has had sex, reports the Chicago Tribune. "Men may be more impulsive in the way they express love, but what love means to men and what love means to women may be very different," said co-author Josh Ackerman, assistant professor of marketing at MIT Sloan School of Management. In a series of surveys, researchers found that two-thirds of couples report that the man was first in confessing love. Men also reported being significantly happier than women to hear "I love you" one month into the relationship if they had not yet had sex, while women felt happier than men when they heard "I love you" after the onset of sex in the relationship. The researchers theorized that a pre-sex love confession may signal interest in advancing the relationship to include sexual activity, while women took "l love you" post-sex as a signal of commitment. The findings will be published in the June issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

For weeks, there has been speculation surrounding the nature of his role in the film. While producers Yash Raj maintains that the cast isn't in place, a source reveals that Sallu's character is a spy agent with the ability to do superhuman things. Interesting, given that his foe Shah Rukh Khan is playing a super hero in his next Ra.One  Apparently, Khan is looking for fresher roles. When Kabir's film came to him, he was excited because of the superhero angle. A source close to the actor reveals, "The film will be shot all around the world at different locations.  It's an espionage thriller on the lines of X-Men where Salman plays an undercover officer as a spy who also has super abilities that are hidden from others. The film will have a lot of special effects."  At the moment Kabir and Salman are having several meetings regarding the look and nature of this particular character. Have you ever been on a first date and wished you had a crystal ball to see into the future?
Would there be a second date? A third? 

Would he like your dog? 

Would your parents like him?
Could a relationship form? Does he have the potential to be "the one"? 



Love is blind is a saying I believe in whole-heartedly, but in a little different way than most. I find most people blindly look for love hoping to "bump" into the right person. They look for the connection and attraction. That's all fine and good, but it's not the stuff healthy relationships are made of. 


It is great if you have chemistry and both of you like the same movies, but if you aren't aware of the all the other important stuff—core values, communication, deal breakers—you are probably going to wake up one day and realize you wasted your time. 



I am not the dating fairy who can sprinkle magic dust and show you five, ten, or twenty-five years down the line. But, by keeping your eyes open, you'd be surprised how much you can really learn about a person without spending the next six months wading around in a questionable relationship. 
In fact, with a little know-how, you can learn a lot on the first date! 



Here are red flags you can watch for in the first date to realize if someone has real dating potential:

1. Denny Downer Syndrome: 


He is a great guy but has been dealt a "bad hand." He works so hard at his job, yet no one notices or appreciates him. Life is always so tough. 



I am getting depressed just writing this. We all know at least a few of these people—the constant victims in their own life. The people that never get a break. 



Listen, we all have bad days and bad situations. But, the guy who is truly suffering from the "downer syndrome" is probably making choices that are keeping him unhappy. Not only will his negativity rub off on you, it is exhausting spending all of YOUR time listening to his problems and telling him it will get better soon.

My guess is if he can't figure out how to solve these problems, he isn't going to offer much to a healthy relationship (much less to you, when you have an occasional bad day). 

2. The Overachievers: He loves his job. When he isn't putting in eighty hours a week, he is working just as hard on a side business or project. He purchases houses to flip in between training three hours a day for a marathon next month. It takes him two weeks just to schedule a date. 
Many women who are excited about his motivation and full, exciting life miss this red flag. There is a point that you will need to wave your arms and say, "Excuse me, but where would I fit in?" 

It is great that he has so many wonderful things in his lives; but with a schedule like that he has unconsciously decided not to make relationships one of them. Healthy relationships are for real people who have balance in their life. It is very important that your date has a life, friends, goals, and passions. But, if this person doesn't have time for dating, he isn't going to have time for you and a real relationship.

3. Anger Management Needed:


This is a classic red flag ignored time and time again. I have heard women make all the excuses. He just has a lot of passion or he is particular about the way he likes things. Make all the excuses you want, but if he is yelling at the waiter that the fish just isn't right, or is rude to coffee shop employees, you can safely peek into what the future might be like.

We have all seen the poor woman who spends half of her existence apologizing for her husband's rude behavior and unless you want to be that person, run—don't walk—in the other direction.

4. Ex Trash Talker: 

She was absolutely crazy. She was super clingy. I had no idea she would back her car into my truck twenty-six times. Ok, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that it might even be true, but if he chose to date her for three years—heck, even six months—that was pretty much his choice.

In fact, if his ex was so bad, why did he even start dating her? As my Grandma always said, it takes two to tango. If he let that person into his life and then stuck around for it, something just ain't right.

5. Mr. One-Upper: 

You went to Italy. He did a month long gastro tour with Italy's top chefs. You like opera. He dabbled in it a bit in college and is personal friends with the three tenors (when they were all alive) and has season tickets to the Met.

It is great that he has travelled the world, had incredible experiences, and seems well connected. Unfortunately in Mr. One Upper's eyes, your accomplishments will never be quite as good as his, your dreams not as big and your life not as important. He is never going to let you shine in the relationship and everybody needs to shine.

These are some pretty good rules to follow but, more importantly, if you notice that you keep getting that feeling of disappointment or find yourself feeling a little uncomfortable about some of the things your date is saying, listen to it. That is your body being your very own dating coach.
